My favourite campsite so far - and we've stayed at a lot!
Goetre Farm really is a special place; it offers the comforts of a modern, clean, green campsite with all the charm of staying on a small farm. Our children had a wonderful time with the super-friendly animals and they didn’t once complain of being bored. We will definitely be coming back to stay with you in the future.
Beautiful scenery at the campsite with walks through their woods and a chance to feed the lambs. Friendly and helpful hosts who went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed. Top quality facilities with kids play barn and fantastic hot showers all included.
We loved everything here! The view, the guinea fowl, the barn full of games (and undercover washing up) the huge amount of space for running around, the woodland to walk through and most of all Theri, who is a truly lovely host. We also made use of our fire pit (and picnic table at the camper van pitches) and it was so easy to buy all the stuff we needed for making a fire on site. And the eggs we bought were also delicious! There is a log burner with sofas completely inside for wet days! I am sure this site will be so popular that we will never be able to go again!
Absolutely stunning location with fantastic facilities and wonderful hosts. Loads of space for pitches and the barn facilities were lovely, Had lots of fun playing skittles with our little boy and watching the guinea fowl and chickens run around! Theri was a wonderful host and went out of her way to help us settle and even meet the animals!
A warm welcome at this thoughtfully put together campsite. Facilities under cover include a variety of family fun games which make this site especially good for those with younger children, but also great for others like ourselves who appreciate the views, quiet and nearby walking.
What wasn’t there to like with Green Sheep Camping? We had such a wonderful time! The owners had everything so well organised and were naturals with the kids. Future holidays will struggle to compete with stroking and naming baby guinea fowl and feeding the sheep. There was no risk of our trip being spoiled by bad weather as there was a barn with a log burner to keep warm and dry and even a skittle alley and various games to keep the kids happy. I don’t doubt that we’ll visit again. The site setup and the location were perfect for our family holiday.
Hosts were lovely and really helpful. Good clean facilities with undercover area for when the weather isn't great. Plenty of space between pitches, with a firepit and seating for each pitch.
Plenty to do in the area within a short drive. Also, lot of local walks. Quiet and peaceful. Lots of animals and wildlife.
The small size, friendly and family orientated, inclusive atmosphere, owners Theri and Tom and their family who were helpful and informative and also let our daughter feed the sheep! The free range chickens, the cleanliness of the whole place and the lively warm showers! Pitch was spacious with an excellent view and firepit provided.
