Onsite Activities
Fun and Games
Whatever the weather, campers can enjoy playing games in our Communal Barn, Communal Snug, or on the yard and in the fields. Games include table tennis, darts and skittles. There is a swing set in the tents field.
Campers who bring their own bikes and scooters will enjoy cycling and scooting around the yard and down the tarmac track.
Exploring our land
We have set up a couple of circular Nature Trails to enable and encourage campers to explore our land. Adventurous children will relish the freedom of exploring our woods and fields.
The Tremendous Tree Trail
Campers can walk down into the valley and up again through the mossy, ferny, ancient oak woodland that can be considered a piece of ‘temperate rainforest’. There is a stream at the bottom of the valley.
Malachi’s Walk
A Welsh government grant has enabled us to plant over 7,500 trees, of 21 native species, in former monoculture dairy fields. Named ‘Malachi’s Wood’, this developing woodland is in memory and honour of our son. There are two ponds amongst the trees and part of this trail is along our tarmac track.
